How to use
- Write or open Markdown.
- The preview updates as you type; drafts are kept in this browser.
- Export .md, HTML or PDF.
Worked example
A table written as | Item | Qty | with a separator row renders as an HTML table in the preview and export.
Supported formats and limits
| Input | Markdown, .md files |
|---|---|
| Output | .md, HTML, PDF (print) |
| Engine | marked (GitHub-flavoured Markdown) + DOMPurify sanitization |
Limitations
- Raw HTML in Markdown is sanitized; scripts, event handlers, forms and inline styles are removed.
- PDF export uses your browser's print dialog, so page size and margins come from its print settings.
Questions
Which Markdown syntax is supported?
GitHub-flavoured Markdown: headings, lists, links, images, code blocks, tables, task lists, strikethrough and autolinks. Line breaks need a blank line or two trailing spaces, as on GitHub.
Is my draft saved?
The draft is kept in this browser's local storage so it survives a reload. It is not uploaded or synced to other devices; export a file to keep a copy.
What does the HTML export contain?
A standalone HTML file with the sanitized rendered document and a small built-in stylesheet. Links open in a new tab.
