Who runs toolsdocks
toolsdocks is built and maintained by M. Mujtaba Munner. The goal is simple: a single place for the small, everyday tools people need (converting a file, checking a calculation, cleaning up data) that are genuinely free, do not need an account and do not upload your files. Every tool is written and tested for this site, and each page explains how the tool works, its limits and a worked example. Questions, bug reports and tool suggestions are welcome at contact@toolsdocks.com or through the contact page.
How the tools work
toolsdocks is a static website. There is no toolsdocks server that receives your files: each tool runs in your browser tab, using your device's processor. Converting a photo, merging PDFs or transcribing a recording happens on your computer or phone, and the result is created there.
A few tools need to contact a public service, for example a DNS lookup or the speed test. Those tool pages name the service and say exactly what is sent. Tools that use open-source AI models download the model files once (from Hugging Face) and then run them on your device.
What is available
167 tools are available across 17 categories. Tools are added to the directory only after their processing has been tested with real files. Browse them in the tool directory.
How it is funded
The tools are free. The site shows a small number of clearly labelled display ads from Google AdSense. Tool pages where you work with your own files or text never show ads.
