Limitations
- Repeating decimals are shown rounded; the fraction is exact.
Questions
How are repeating decimals shown?
The fraction is always exact. The decimal form marks the repeating block when there is one, and rounding is done exactly rather than with floating-point numbers.
Can I enter decimals?
Yes. Decimals are converted to exact fractions, so 0.25 + 1/3 gives 7/12. Division by zero and syntax problems are reported.
