How to use

  1. Split: choose a file, set the part size (for example 25 MB) or the number of parts, and press Split file. Download the parts and the manifest.
  2. Join: drop all parts (and the manifest if you have it). Parts are ordered by number; with the manifest every part and the result are checked against SHA-256.

Worked example

A 104 MB video split at 25 MB produces five parts: four of 25 MB and one of 4 MB, plus a manifest with the original SHA-256.

Supported formats and limits

InputAny file (split), Parts named *.001, *.002… (or *.part001) plus the optional manifest (join)
OutputNumbered parts + manifest.json with SHA-256 per part, Rejoined original file
LimitsFiles up to 4 GB; parts from 1 KB, up to 9,999 parts. "Download all (ZIP)" is offered up to 512 MB in total.
EngineBlob slicing with streaming SHA-256 (hash-wasm)

Limitations

  • Parts are plain byte ranges; they are not individually playable or readable.
  • Without the manifest the joined file cannot be verified against the original; its SHA-256 is shown instead.

Questions

Can I open one part on its own?

No. Parts are plain byte ranges, so a part of a video or archive is not playable or readable by itself. Join all parts first.

How do I know the joined file is correct?

Add the manifest with the parts. It holds the original SHA-256, and the joined file is checked against it. Without the manifest, the joined file's SHA-256 is shown so you can compare it yourself.
