How to use
- Open the page; checks run immediately.
- Expand a feature to see which toolsdocks tools need it.
- Copy the report for support requests.
Worked example
With WebAssembly disabled (for example by a company policy), the check lists the tools that need it, such as the SQL playground and the file checksum verifier, and suggests updating or switching browsers.
Supported formats and limits
| Output | Feature table (copyable report) |
|---|---|
| Engine | Live feature detection (not user-agent guessing) |
Limitations
- A feature can be present but disabled by policy or hardware; the test reports what the page can actually use.
Questions
Why can a feature be missing in an up-to-date browser?
Features can be turned off by a company policy, a browser setting, the operating system or the graphics hardware. The checker reports what this page can actually use right now, which is what matters for the tools on this site.
Does the WebRTC check connect to anything?
No. It creates a local data channel without connecting to another device or a server. The other checks also run inside the page; a check that hangs is stopped after a timeout and reported.
