How to use

  1. Open a file; use Add file at the end to join more files after it.
  2. Drag on the waveform (or use Shift + arrow keys, or type start and end times) to select; Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Trim, Silence, Fade, Gain, Normalize and Reverse apply to the selection.
  3. Export in your chosen format.

Worked example

Remove the first 4.2 s of silence from a podcast, add a 2-second fade-out at the end, and export a 128 kb/s MP3.

Supported formats and limits

InputMP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, Ogg/Opus, FLAC, WebM audio
OutputWAV, MP3, M4A (AAC), Ogg Opus, FLAC
LimitsAbout 23 minutes of 48 kHz stereo (46 minutes mono), decoded into memory; up to 30 undo steps while memory allows.
EngineMediabunny (WebCodecs) or Web Audio decoding; sample-accurate edits in memory with undo; WAV/FLAC/MP3/AAC/Opus encoding via Mediabunny

Questions

Do effects apply to the whole file or a selection?

Cut, delete, trim, silence and fades work on the selection. Gain, Normalize and Reverse apply to the selection, or to the whole clip when nothing is selected.

How long a file can I edit?

About 23 minutes of 48 kHz stereo (46 minutes mono), because the audio is decoded into memory. Up to 30 undo steps are kept while memory allows.
