Stitch screenshots into one image

Add screenshots in order. For each join the tool looks for rows the two captures share, cuts the repeat, keeps fixed top and bottom bars once, and shows a preview of the seam.

How to use

  1. Add screenshots in order (drag to reorder).
  2. Choose vertical or horizontal and enable Remove overlap for scrolling captures.
  3. Stitch and download.

Worked example

Three 1170×2532 phone screenshots of a chat, each overlapping the previous one by 400 px and sharing the same top and bottom bars, become one 1170×6276 px image with the bars kept once.

Supported formats and limits

InputPNG, JPEG, WebP
OutputPNG, JPEG
LimitsOutput up to 32,767 px long in Chrome, Edge and Firefox (longer results are saved as consecutive parts); about 16 megapixels per image on iPhone and iPad.
EngineCanvas compositing with row-signature overlap detection and fixed header/footer detection

Limitations

  • Overlap detection needs matching regions; animations or a different zoom between captures prevent it. Set the cut for that join by hand.
  • A match found only in blank or plain rows is marked as uncertain; check the join preview.

Questions

What should I do when automatic overlap removal is wrong?

Open that join and type the pixels to cut from the end of the first image and the start of the next; the preview updates and Use detected values restores the automatic cut. You can also turn off Remove overlap automatically to join every image edge to edge.

When is the detected overlap uncertain?

When the matching rows are plain (blank space or a single colour), the join says plain area only. Those rows could match by chance, so check the preview. When nothing matches, the images are joined edge to edge.

What if the result is very long?

Chrome, Edge and Firefox can draw up to 32,767 px on a side; longer results are saved as several images that continue each other. iPhone and iPad allow about 16 megapixels per image.
