How to use
- Upload an image or type text/emoji.
- Adjust padding, background and corner radius; check the small-size preview.
- Download the ZIP and paste the HTML tags into your page head.
Worked example
A 512×512 logo produces favicon.ico with 16, 32 and 48 px images, plus 180 px Apple and 192/512 px manifest icons.
Supported formats and limits
| Input | PNG, JPEG, SVG, WebP, Emoji or text |
|---|---|
| Output | favicon.ico (16/32/48), PNG 16 to 512, apple-touch-icon.png, site.webmanifest, ZIP |
| Engine | Canvas resampling; ICO writer with embedded PNG entries |
Limitations
- Detailed logos become unreadable at 16 px; simplify for the smallest size.
Questions
Which files do I get?
favicon.ico containing 16, 32 and 48 px PNG images, separate PNGs at 16, 32 and 48 px, a 180 px apple-touch-icon.png, 192 and 512 px manifest icons, a favicon.svg for SVG or text sources, site.webmanifest and the link tags.
Why does the Apple touch icon have a solid background?
iOS shows transparent pixels as black on the home screen, so that icon always gets an opaque background even when the others are transparent.
