How to use
- Enter a title, date, time and time zone.
- Copy the share link; it opens a large countdown that can go full screen.
- Viewers see the time remaining in their own clock.
Worked example
A countdown to 1 January 2027 00:00 in Tokyo reaches zero at 15:00 UTC on 31 December 2026.
Supported formats and limits
| Input | Title, date, time, time zone |

| Engine | The target time is stored in the link itself; nothing is saved on a server |
Limitations
- Accuracy depends on each viewer's device clock.
Questions
What information does the share link expose?
The target time in UTC, the time zone and the title, written in plain text in the link's query string. Anyone who has the link can read them, so leave private details out of the title.
Is the countdown exact for every viewer?
It reaches zero at the same instant everywhere, but each viewer's display depends on their own device clock. A clock that is a minute fast shows a minute less.
How does the embed code work?
It is a short HTML and JavaScript snippet with the target time inside it. It runs on your own page and does not load anything from toolsdocks.
